Mosquitoes and Ticks
Oftentimes we find people justify treating their yards for mosquitoes because they believe they are also protecting their family from ticks at the same time. And let’s face it, even without the news scaring us about the risks of Zika and other diseases, mosquitoes make being outside less enjoyable. There is no shame in wanting to be able to enjoy an evening in the backyard without being eaten alive by mosquitos or having to soak your entire family in Deet.

Bee Careful
PesTecs is very concerned with declining bee populations, and we have designed our workday around minimizing the negative effects of pesticides on bees.
The PesTecs workday for outdoor broadcast pesticide applications begins in the early evening and goes until the work is done. Our later work day is safer for bees at the time of treatment, and is more effective on mosquitoes which means we can achieve the same results with fewer applications.
